Plan ahead. Usually from £22. Official club price graphic lists box-office hours (Thu 22 16:30-20:30, Fri 23 11:00-20:00, match day 11:00 to kick-off); no online general-sale opening date published.

1. Open rayovallecano.es and look for the news item 'Informacion de las entradas' for the match you want.
2. Read the post for the venue first, because Rayo have used both Vallecas and Butarque this season.
3. Follow the link in the post to the club's online sale, choose your seats and pay by card.
4. Keep the digital ticket on your phone; members get priority and the window for the general public can be short.
5. Check the club's channels for the latest venue news before travelling.
