The plan

1. Fri 6 Nov: fly outLondon to Münster/Osnabrück (FMO), typical return £15–£28. Budget room about £53 a night.
2. Sat 7 Nov: match dayKick-off 13:00 local time at Stadion an der Bremer Brücke. From Osnabrück Hbf walk about 25 minutes or take a city bus towards Schinkel; check Stadtwerke Osnabrück for the matchday line.
3. Sun 8 Nov: fly home

Tickets

Hard, members first. Usually from £14. Home games: members only first (27 Oct for the 28 Nov Hannover match), free sale two days later (29 Oct).

1. Open vfl.de/tickets, which lists each match with its sale start and links to the online ticket shop.
2. Check the table for your game and note the date for free sale.
3. Register a free account in the ticket shop with your name, address and email.
4. When free sale opens, pick the match and a block on the map; standing blocks behind the goal are cheapest.
5. Pay by card or PayPal and save the e-ticket. You cannot reserve tickets.
