Open sale to non-members was used for Bundesliga home games in 2025-26 (Stuttgarter Zeitung, March 2026), but member presale comes first and the policy may change.

Buying a ticket, step by step

When tickets go on sale: Member presale first, then open sale; exact dates are announced per match on vfb.de.

Membership: VfB membership (priority only). It gets you in before general sale, but you don't need it.

  1. Open tickets.vfb.de (the VfB ticket shop, linked from vfb.de under Tickets) and register or log in with a verified email address.
  2. Open the page for your home match and see whether it is in member presale or free sale. In the 2025-26 Bundesliga season non-members could buy in an open sale for the home games so far.
  3. Pick a block and seats; the Gegengerade side areas often had seats left when sales opened to everyone.
  4. Pay by card. Tickets are delivered as a mobile ticket for your phone wallet or the VfB app.
  5. If the game is sold out, check the shop again in match week for returns and the official resale.
  6. Ticket holders normally get free public transport (KombiTicket) in the Stuttgart area on matchday; check the ticket details.
