Phases are Jokerphase, member presale, a free presale only 'if applicable' and the official Zweitmarkt. With very high demand the club expects no free presale, so non-members mostly rely on the Zweitmarkt.

Buying a ticket, step by step

When tickets go on sale: Member presale starts at 12:00 (Jokerphase 9:30-11:00); free presale only for some games depending on availability; Ticketzweitmarkt opens 10 days before each home game at 12:00 and stays open until kick-off (club article 21 July 2026).

Membership: Membership. You'll need it for most games.

1. Create an account in the SC Freiburg ticket shop (scfreiburg.com, Supporters, Ticket-Shop).
2. Subscribe to the club newsletter; presale start dates are announced there and on the club site.
3. Check whether your home game is listed for 'freier Vorverkauf'; if not, plan for the Zweitmarkt.
4. Ten days before kick-off at 12:00 open the Ticketzweitmarkt in the shop and buy released seats or standing places; repeat until kick-off.
5. Ticket counters at the Europa-Park Stadion open two hours before kick-off on matchday.

Tips

• Zweitmarkt is the official way for non-members; releases are small and quick.
• Home and away games can now be bundled into one sales phase, so there are fewer sale dates.

Getting there

From the airport

• EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg to Freiburg Hauptbahnhof area: Freiburger Reisedienst (book via FlixBus), 60 minutes, about €25. Leaves the French sector, hourly (about 14 per day); about EUR 25, book online or pay the driver in cash.
• Or EuroAirport to Basel SBB: Bus 50 (BVB), 20 minutes. Every 7-10 min to midnight; CHF 6.10 one way, machines take cash and Maestro, not credit cards; alternative to the coach.
• Or Basel SBB to Freiburg Hauptbahnhof: ICE or regional, 35 minutes, about €30. ICE about 35 min and roughly EUR 30; slower regional from Basel Bad Bf 45-60 min about EUR 15; DB Navigator app.
• Or EuroAirport to Freiburg: Taxi, 50 minutes. Airport page quotes a flat 340 CHF to Freiburg, so avoid.

To Europa-Park Stadion

From Freiburg Hbf take tram 4 toward Messe to Technische Fakultat (the Europa-Park Stadion stop is not served on weekdays), then walk about 20 minutes. S-Bahn S1/S11 to Freiburg Messe/Universitat is another 20-minute walk.

On match day

• SC Freiburg tickets are valid as an RVF fare from 5 hours before to 3 hours after the game; check your ticket print.
• VAG special lines run from Bertoldsbrunnen straight to the Europa-Park Stadion stop from about 3.5 hours before kick-off.

Make a weekend of it

• Freiburg Muenster and the Muensterplatz market
• Schlossberg viewpoint by cable car
• Streets with the Baechle water channels, then Lange Rote sausage
