Members and season-ticket holders take almost everything; non-members mainly get hospitality, an official reseller, or member resale returns.
Buying a ticket, step by step
When tickets go on sale: Season-ticket holders first, then members about 4-6 weeks before; a public sale is rare.
Membership: FC Bayern membership (needed for almost all league games). You'll need it for most games. It costs about €65.
- Go to fcbayern.com/en/tickets and register for a free account with your email and postal address.
- Join FC Bayern as a member through the club's membership page (about EUR 65 for an adult); membership puts you ahead of the public in the queue but does not guarantee a seat.
- Watch the ticket shop for the match you want: member sale opens about 4-6 weeks before, and a general sale only appears for lower-demand games.
- When your window opens, pick a block and seats and pay by card; tickets are delivered digitally to the club app or your wallet.
- If it shows sold out, check the official member resale area in the ticket shop in the days before the game, where returns are listed.
- If you cannot get a ticket, book hospitality or buy through one of the official resellers listed on the club's ticket page.
Tips
- Do not use Viagogo, StubHub or eBay: Bayern names them as unauthorised and tickets can be refused at the gate.
- A match ticket does not cover public transport in Munich, so buy an MVV day ticket.
- Official returns usually appear in match week, so check again then.
