A small, steep ground that sells out for bigger games; the club runs a members window and then free sale per match.

Buying a ticket, step by step

When tickets go on sale: The club posts each match's free sale on sv98.de, usually a week or so after the members presale starts. For Bochum away they announced free sale on 20 October 2026.

Membership: None needed for single tickets (members get an earlier sale). It gets you in before general sale, but you don't need it.

  1. Open sv98.de/shops/ticketinfos for the sale phases and the link to the online ticket shop (tickets.sv98.de).
  2. Register a free account in the ticket shop with your name, address and email.
  3. Watch the news for 'Freier Verkauf' (free sale) of your chosen home game; until then only members can buy.
  4. Choose a block on the map. The standing Süd end is cheapest and loudest.
  5. Pay by card or PayPal and save the print-at-home or mobile ticket (WirLilien-App).
  6. Bring the ticket on your phone to the turnstile on matchday.
