Season tickets need a waiting list, but single-match general sale exists and runs until kick-off. For a Champions League game the limit was one ticket per person online, up to four per transaction.
Buying a ticket, step by step
When tickets go on sale: Members buy first in an early window; general sale then opens on a Monday at 10:30. For Athletic v Celta (matchday 37, 2026) it opened Monday 27 April 2026. Tickets stay on sale online until kick-off.
Membership: None needed for general sale (socio season tickets are by waiting list). It gets you in before general sale, but you don't need it.
- Open athletic-club.eus/en/tickets and pick the league match from the list.
- Check the sale phase on the match page: a members-only early window comes first, then general sale from 10:30 on the announced Monday.
- Click Buy now, create or log in to a fan account and choose your seats on the stadium map.
- Pay by card; tickets are sold online right up until kick-off.
- Alternatively use the ticket office between Gates 6 and 7 at San Mames; its opening hours are announced in the match-week stadium guide on the club site.
- Bring the ticket on your phone to the gates, which open about 90 minutes before kick-off.
Tips
- Buy only from the club site; members can transfer or release seats, and the club resells them to the public.
- Check the club's San Mames stadium guide for each match, published about two weeks before, for ticket office hours and gate times.
