Buying a ticket, step by step
When tickets go on sale: Free sale to everyone opened 12:00 on 25 Sep for the 27 Oct match (32 days); Roma v Sassuolo (7 Nov) opened 9 Oct (29 days).
Membership: None needed (season-ticket and card holders get priority for big games). It gets you in before general sale, but you don't need it.
- Open asroma.com/en/tickets and choose the men's team tickets.
- Click Register now or complete your profile; you must be logged in to buy.
- Pick the match and check the sale phase. Free sale opens at 12:00 on the date shown on the match listing.
- Choose a sector and seats. Prices shown during purchase are the official ones, with reductions for over 65s, under 25 students and under 16s in marked sectors.
- Buy up to four tickets per transaction and pay by card.
- Tickets are fully digital: add them to your phone Wallet or open them in the Il Mio Posto app. Printouts and screenshots are not valid. Carry a valid identity document.
Tips
- The club advises against buying from any site other than asroma.com; a Stadio Olimpico sales point (Box 4, Via Nigra) opens on matchdays subject to availability.
- Under-25 and over-65 reductions only apply in marked sectors, and ID or student card is checked.

Getting there
From the airport
- Fiumicino Airport to Roma Termini: Leonardo Express, 32 minutes, about €14. Follow signs to the station from arrivals; buy at Trenitalia ticket machines or the app, and validate if the ticket asks you to. Trains leave about every 15 minutes.
- Or Ciampino Airport to Roma Termini: Terravision / SIT / Atral, 40 minutes, about €5. Coaches wait outside arrivals; buy online or at the kiosk. Fares range about 4 to 7 euros by operator; they stop on Via Marsala beside Termini.
- Or Fiumicino Airport to Rome centre: Taxi / ride-hail, 45 minutes, about €50. Official taxis have a fixed fare to the centre; ride-hail apps are a fallback. Fixed fare not checked this session.
To Stadio Olimpico
Metro A to Flaminio (or Piazza del Popolo), then tram 2 towards Mancini to the Mancini stop and walk across the river to Viale dei Gladiatori; the walk from Flaminio is about 40 minutes. Tram journey time not confirmed.
On match day
- Roma and Lazio both play at the Stadio Olimpico, north of the centre; check the kick-off area on the day as buses and trams are packed after the match.
- Allow extra time to leave the stadium area; the walk to the Flaminio or Lepanto metro is a common way to avoid the queues.
Make a weekend of it
- Walk Trastevere for supplì and cacio e pepe
- Colosseum and Roman Forum, book timed tickets
- Trevi Fountain and Pantheon on foot in the early morning
The atmosphere
Curva Sud is loud and organised; Olimpico track-and-field layout keeps the stands far from the pitch.
