Public sale is last, and high-demand matches rarely reach it; international fans must verify a passport or ID in the app before buying.

Buying a ticket, step by step

When tickets go on sale: Staggered daily windows from 10:00 CET: season ticket holders (day 1), Supporters Association (day 2), Club Card holders (day 3), verified public accounts (day 4) if seats remain.

Membership: Ajax Supporters Association or digital Club Card (optional, earlier access). It gets you in before general sale, but you don't need it.

1. Download the Official Ajax App or go to the Ajax website and create a My Ajax account.
2. Verify your identity in the app by scanning your passport or ID card; this is required for international fans before you can buy.
3. Decide whether to buy a Supporters Association membership or digital Club Card; they give earlier windows but are optional (cost not confirmed).
4. On the day your window opens at 10:00 CET, log in to the Official Ajax Ticketshop at tickets.ajax.nl and pick your category and seats.
5. Pay online; the ticket is delivered digitally in the app.
6. If the match is sold out, check the Official Ajax Resale Platform for returned tickets.

Tips

• Official base prices run roughly EUR 25-35 (shortside), 40-75 (upper longside) and 50-100+ (lower longside).
• Third-party resale sites are not official; use the club resale platform.

Getting there

From the airport

• Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Centraal: NS Sprinter/Intercity, 17 minutes, about €6. Follow the train signs under the arrivals hall; tap in and out with a contactless bank card or phone at the yellow poles on the platform, or buy a ticket at an NS machine (about 5.50 to 6.50 euro by source). Forgetting to tap out costs a penalty fare.
• Or Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam centre: Taxi / Uber, 25 minutes. Taxi rank outside arrivals or Uber; fare not verified from a source, roughly 45 to 55 euro in guides but treat as unconfirmed.

To Johan Cruijff ArenA

Metro 50 or 54 to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA (54 runs from Amsterdam Centraal, well under 15 minutes by train/metro), then about 5 min walk.

On match day

• Tram and train stops get packed after the match, so leave 15 minutes early or walk to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station.
• Always tap out when paying by contactless or you are charged a penalty fare.

Make a weekend of it

• Jordaan neighbourhood canals and brown cafes
