Most league games reach general sale after the AberDNA pre-sale, but Rangers and Celtic games have been limited to fans with a previous buying history.

Buying a ticket, step by step

When tickets go on sale: AberDNA members get a pre-sale at 9am on a Tuesday; general sale follows two days later at 9am on a Thursday (June 2026 pattern for Hearts and Rangers games).

Membership: AberDNA membership gives a pre-sale; not needed to buy. It gets you in before general sale, but you don't need it.

  1. Open afc.co.uk/en/ticketing and follow the link to the club's eTickets site.
  2. Register an account with your name, address and email, then log in.
  3. Pick the home match and check the sale notice on the club news page to see whether it is AberDNA pre-sale or general sale.
  4. Choose a stand and seats from the map. The Richard Donald Stand holds most home fans and the Merkland and Dick Donald stands sit behind and beside it.
  5. Pay by card and choose a digital ticket, which carries no fee, then add it to your phone wallet or save the QR code.
  6. If online sales are closed, call 01224 63 1903 or visit the Ticketing and Supporter Services Hub at the ground.

Getting there

From the airport

To Pittodrie Stadium

From Aberdeen station it is about 2 miles: a taxi takes 10 minutes, or walk about 30 minutes via Union Street and King Street. Local First Aberdeen buses on King Street also run to the ground; exact route not confirmed.

The atmosphere

Pittodrie is compact and close to the pitch with a loud home end; it is noisiest for Rangers, Celtic and Dundee United.
